Yonge

Under Construction
North York became the stage for another architectural reinvention. The site was generous, though its rear converged into an unexpected, quirky shape. The street curved, as if it had its own agenda, embracing the place’s oddity with a plan that was half-baked – but somehow, it just might work.

And work it did. The design's guiding principle was scale – the kind that doesn’t overwhelm or demand attention. We offset it. The volume was broken into two merging, offset gables. No towering box looming over the neighborhood. No, no. These gables – sleek, precise – were like two perfectly balanced dancers in mid-motion, creating a harmony as they seemed to come together while maintaining their distinct presence. Each gable whispered, "We belong here."

This wasn’t just a house. It was a study in how to tame a difficult site, how to make it sing. A perfect duet between volume and form, where even the broadest canvas yielded to the finesse of design.
