Stair Design

Completed
In the heart of a recently renovated Parkdale residence, where the walls scream pristine white and the air feels almost too clean, we decided to make a statement—an industrial one. Enter the steel stair intervention. No soft pastels here. No muted shades. We’re talking a bold, unapologetic black powder-coated finish, designed to stand out against the spotless backdrop like a rebel in a room of conformists. It wasn’t an easy fit, mind you. This was no blank slate; it was squeezed into an existing space during a client-managed renovation, a game of architectural Tetris. But that’s what made it work. That contrast—the sharp, raw industrial edge set against the refined, whitewashed interior—turned the space into a conversation piece. This wasn’t just a stairway. This was an intervention.
