Project Description

“Man’s sense of space is a synthesis of many sensory inputs.”

-James Gibson

Analogues to running ones hand through a lover's hair, head and shoulders proposed an encounter where the participant travels through a dense grid of plastic ribbons that blurs and alters the sense of depth. The project aspires to access the concept of Proprioception, or the sense of space touching you. Users are transformed from having to use the sense of touch to orientate themselves rather then the sense of vision.
