Project Description

A signage and branding scheme created for a garden intervention inside the woods next to the Matapédia River in Amqui. The scheme along with the design for the garden was an elegant and powerful tribute to the entire valley’s landscape and historic significance. From the hay bales guiding drivers toward the installations and the light-handed manipulation of materials from the landscape. All is in a dazzling white that simultaneously recalls the marking of the first Kempt Road, the milk run through the valley and the chalk used by the teaching Ursuline nuns at the monastery.
