Head & Shoulders

Scotiabank Nuit Blanche Proposal
“Man’s sense of space is a synthesis of many sensory inputs.”

-James Gibson

Imagine running your hand through a lover’s hair, that soft, intimate encounter where touch becomes the language of discovery. Head and Shoulders takes that feeling and blows it up, a maze of plastic ribbons so thick, so tangled, you lose your grip on depth itself. You don’t see the space; you feel it. The whole thing is a full-on dive into proprioception — that elusive, almost mystical sense of your body in space, the sensation of space touching you. Forget sight. Now you’re orienting yourself by the subtle language of touch, stumbling and weaving through a world that’s as much felt as seen.
